Hotel Islazul La Lupe
Located on the banks of the Bano River, in the north of Guantanamo province, the 2 star hotel La Lupe stands out for the abundant vegetation that surrounds it, achieving a perfect natural environment to rest.
With a very sober but colorful and bright style, the hotel takes its name from a very popular romantic song decades ago, composed by Juan Almeida Bosque, one of the historical commanders of the Cuban Revolution, famous for his attachment to music.
The hotel is somewhat removed from the city of Guantánamo, although not much. Those who have a car can reach it quickly. Also, La Lupe can function as a starting point for several interesting excursions, including those to the very original Stone Zoo, to the popular Casas del Changüí (autochthonous musical genre) and Trova, to the Biosphere Reserve "Cuchillas de Toa" or the romantic Baracoa, the first village founded by the Spanish conquistadors in Cuba.
In addition, La Lupe will surprise you for the professionalism of its workers. Without being a luxury restaurant or having glamorous services, the hotel has a very good acceptance among its visitors, who enjoy the traditional and international dishes served at its two restaurants, as well as good cocktails at the bar. It also includes tennis court, swimming pool, games room and national and international telephony.
The hotel also has 50 clean and simple rooms, all air-conditioned, including private bathroom, telephone, radio and cable TV.
A small Caribbean refuge, simple but appetizing, where you can spend pleasant days and especially quiet, surrounded by nature.
